Royston Ribbon Turquoise is found in the Boulder Turquoise mine in NE Nevada. It was discovered in the 1970’s by a sheep herder. Basically, the “ribbon“ is a vein of turquoise running through the host rock. Its beauty is enhanced by the skill of the rock cutter. Royston Ribbon Turquoise is popular in both rustic and high end jewelry designs. It’s mix of earthy and vibrant tones pairs well with silver and gold making it versatile and stylish.
The earrings are designed and made by me using ethically sourced stones and recycled sterling silver when possible.
